With so many exciting announcements about new services and organizations coming to The Connection Center, we’d love to take a moment to highlight all the services located in our Health & Wellness building!
Diaper Bank
Diapers can be costly and place a financial burden on families, and we want to help. We collect diapers and diaper rash cream, and we are always looking for people to partner with us to help out even more families within our diaper bank.
If you want to reach out to the diaper bank to donate or collect, text (please do not call) Peggy Voss at 815-258-4653.
HD Discounted Labs
HD Discounted Labs are committed to providing high-quality laboratory services to the uninsured throughout Northwest Indiana. They provide a variety of lab services at a discounted rate, which you can view at our website at www.demotteconnection.com/hd-discountedlabs. While insured patients may utilize this location for lab work, insurance coverage may not be accepted by your insurance company.
They are open at The Connection Center every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. Call 219-836-5799 to schedule directly with them, as the Connection Center does not handle scheduling for their services.
Homework Help
Need help with homework or looking for a tutor for your child? Our homework help team includes local teachers and qualified adults who work together to help students build confidence and succeed in their coursework. At this time, we offer one-on-one private tutoring, but you can also add your name to a list of those interested in future group tutoring.
Perfection Medical Spa
In our medical office, Perfection Medical Spa will be opening with a vast variety of health services. Their services range but are not limited to:

New Leaf Resources
A 2nd new addition in 2026, licensed social worker Tabitha Griffin operates New Leaf Resources’ satellite office at our counseling office in The Connection Center. She is available every Wednesday to meet with her clients who are scheduled at The Connection Center location.
